ANSI C29.5 Low & Medium Voltage Pin Insulator (Class 55 Series)
High-performance wet process porcelain pin insulators engineered for low and medium voltage distribution lines. Fully compliant with ANSI Standard C29.5. Available in Classes 55-1 through 55-5. Features optional Semi-Conducting Glaze to effectively minimize Radio Influence Voltage (RIV) in sensitive environments.
Radio Interference Free (RIF) Technology
The defining feature of this insulator is the black semi-conducting glaze applied to the head and pinhole area. This conductive layer bonds with the standard brown glaze, effectively suppressing corona discharge and radio interference even under high voltage stress. Ideal for residential zones and telecommunication crossings.
